2nd year Graphic Design - Emporio Armani Competition Brief Storyboards and posters

These are our storyboards, we ended up with 3 videos and 3 prints, to appeal to all, but chose 1 of each to enter into the competition. In order of appearance, Male & Female video storyboard and Print, Female & Female video storyboard and Print and Male & Male storyboard and Print.

2nd year Graphic Design - Emporio Armani Competition Brief

As part of our course we could choose a competition brief and we went of this one. The brief was to produce either a print to advertise the relaunch of their perfume, his and hers and/or a 30 second film/animations. We worked on this project as a group of three, and we produced both the video and print. The tag line was "Get Together", so we decided to look into paint pouring, which is a sexual metaphor for both genders coming together. Our video is on the Emporio Armani website and in the end we finished in the top 10 for the National Competition. Judging was done by votes from viewers.

2nd year Graphic Design - Grimms Fairy Tales Illustrations

My illustrations for my book, drawn by hand then scanned into Adobe Photoshop where they were painted. In the order they appear, Frog Prince, Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, Goose Girl, 12 Dancing Princesses, Cinderella and Rapunzel.

2nd year Graphic Design - Grimms Fairy Tales Book Photos

Project involved making a full bound book using 7 - 15 fairy tale stories that were pre-written. The book had to have a theme and I chose an Indian theme. My idea was to make the book look beautiful rather than being practical i.e being read out to children in nurseries. Adobe InDesign was used to format the text and Adobe Photoshop to make the illustrations. The drawings were scanned in and then painted in Photoshop. Only the first story, the contents page and story titles are in proper Hindi as converting all the stories from English to Hindi is a near impossible task due to the differences in grammar. The book was then printed and bound professionally at a local printers and binders.

Tre - Mix

A group was created where people designed a piece of work and then pass it on to be "remixed" (changed/altered) by others. I don't have the full remixes of designs, only what i have "remixed" myself.

1st year Graphic Design - Grids

1 day project focusing on girds in magazines. Task was to select a double page spread and duplicate it my measuring line spacing, gutters, margins ect.

1st year Graphic Design - James Bond Title Sequence Storyboard

Small Project where we had to create a title sqeuence using 12 scenes and only 4 colours.

1st year Graphic Design - Map

Project involved creating an original map to a destination. The map had to bare some resemblance to the destination, my map was made from chocolate and my destination was Thornton's Chocolate Shop. The symbols on the chocolate represent the shops that you pass in order, before you get to your destination. You would eat the chocolate as you reach each shop in turn. Focus was on originality rather than practicality.

P.S. Chocolate doesn't look nice, but tasted good I assure you :D

1st year Graphic Design - iPod Re brand Packaging

Re branding the iPod for the elderly. Idea of going back into time from the 90's (digital music) to the 50's (Jukebox) My part of the group project, lasting about 4 weeks. Also involved creating an advert for promotion.
